My Creative Space

mMy Creative Space looks like this this week. 

Yes, it is a mess, but a creative one at least.  I really would love a room/studio where I could store my material, sew from etc all in the one spot.  That would be heaven!  At the moment I do a lot of cutting out and hand sewing from this desk which is in the lounge room.  The great thing is that it is a roll top desk so I can close the lid when it gets too out of control or when we have visitors.
On the desk at the moment is some new felt play food that I am working on, two unfinished childrens cloth books, a softie and way too much other stuff.
My sewing machine is set up in the laundry and my material is stored in a cupboard in my bedroom and another in the hallway.

Amongst all this mess this week I did manage to finish a cute childrens book with this lovely page - I for Inside.  The windows and door open for a sneak inside the cute little house.
