Sew It

Today I am sharing my Creative Space.  There are lots more Creative Spaces over here so pop on over and be amazed by all the lovely creatives out on blog land.

So this week at my Creative Space I wanted to share my very bestest and most loved Christmas pressie.

Isn't she lovely!  Lets call her Elvie!   Elvie is very clever and has some fancy pancy stitches, flowers and leaves and letters.  She replaces my 20 year old Singer machine that had a serious tension problem and was so noisy that I am sure the neighbours could hear when I was sewing.
 
The best thing about this present is that hubby brought it himself ( with a little advice from the lovely ladies at the sewing shop).  And he kept it a secret ( he told youngest munchkin that he had brought me a super charged electric scooter when he asked what was in the big present under the Christmas tree).  Poor little munchkin was so dissapointed when I opened the present and it was a sewing machine!
Hubby did a good job and he got it so right this year!

But my favourite sewing machine  here is still the old Singer treadle machine.  She is truelly a classic.
